Halogen, Bulb of Choice
Due to the new energy efficient standards, some of the bulbs you currently use in your home will no longer be available.
Beginning in January 2012, you will have 3 choices of light bulbs: halogen, compact fluorescent (CFL) or light emitting diode (LED).
Of the three, halogen light bulbs are most similar to the incandescent bulbs most people currently use and here's how they measure up.
